Too late or there's something to be shown in SUV market?  Getting to know the New Nissan terra?

After years of development, Nissan has finally joined the hotly-contested pickup-platform SUV segment with the all-new Terra. Aimed squarely against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Ford Everest, Isuzu mu-X and the like, it features a sleek and muscular design that is complemented by the company's suite of Intelligent Mobility features. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter turbo-diesel engine that is available with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox. Top-spec models get extra features like LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, automatic climate control with rear vents, touchscreen infotainment, 4WD capability with center locking diff, blind-spot sensing, cruise control, 360-degree around view monitor and a reverse camera.

The Terra’s looks isn’t too far from its pickup truck brother are well – chiseled hood, defined fenders, angular daytime running lights, and muscular character lines adorns the vehicle. The V-motion grille is wide and imposing, which is a nod to the automaker’s bigger SUV, the Patrol. VL and VE variants sit on 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels (EL on 17-inch), with front dic brakes and rear drum brakes.

Up front, the SUV seems to be a modified version of the Nissan Terrano. In particular, the Nissan Terra owns a muscular look thanks to the brand’s signature V-shaped chrome grille and a set of sharply-designed head lights which feature project units and LED daytime running lamps. Also noticeable at the front fascia are the massive air intake, the chunky front bumper and the blacked-out fog light housings with chrome trim.
